Happy Birthday - this one's for you.

October 30 is a special day for a lot of special people in my life.
First of all, it's the day before Halloween, and if you don't know this, I LOVE Halloween.

Next? It's National Candy Corn Day. And I only have 15 of them left in my house. I don't think they will make it til 10am.


My friend, Jerry, is having a birthday today, so I'd like to send a big shout out to him. He's a bit camera shy.

And this is my "baby" kitty, Jazmine. She is turning 15 today. She had 6 white hairs when I got her. I think if she had stayed in the cooker one more day and been born on October 31, she would have been a solid black kitty.

She really is a sweetheart, but boy was she mad when I brought home a kitten. She really likes Halloween too.

My Mom's birthday is today. She would have been 64. This was her at age 16. Nice gun, Mom.


This was her on her second wedding day at our family cabin in Colorado, shortly before she passed away (at age 47). She married a spectacular guy who gave her an engagement ring on the day she told him the cancer came back. He told her that he wanted to spend the rest of her life with her. And he did. Thank you Chuck.
