You mentioned "I am going to research carrot recipes" if you are serious, I have a simple yet delicious recipe for making crackers from carrots. We just made a trip to DC and I made up several batches of carrot crackers to munch on while on the road. Just let me know and I will share.
The photo was taken outside of Bakersfield. From a distance, I thought it was a huge pile of oranges. This somehow made more sense to me (I am not sure why). My husband, who grew up in the valley, explained that it was food for the dairy cows. I'm surprised the milk isn't orange. The pile was 16 feet high and almost as long as football field!

I know you like orange, but this is ridiculous. Now you are a carrot stalker! LOL!
I hope Tim likes carrots--or maybe you can invite Bugs over for dinner after your panic buying trip.
